Kaun Banega Crorepati, also known as KBC is a popular Indian reality show which has its format primarily based on, or maybe inspired from the immensely successful UK based game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The UK based show is known to offer the maximum prize money worth one million pound. In India, the show was aired for the first time in the year 2000, and the Indian megastar Amitabh Bachchan played the host for the same. The show stands out even more prominently due to the contribution of Mr. Bachchan, who made his first attempt at appearing on the television with KBC and made his screen presence felt like no one could ever do that before, making the show a huge success.
This year, marks the sixth comeback season of KBC i.e. KBC 2012, the registration procedure of which commences from the 28th of May, 2012. This year the show will be aired in the Sony entertainment television. The Level 1 or the first round includes, a competition question which has four multiple choice answer options that will soon be aired on daily basis as a part of the promotions, 28th of May, 2012 up till 7th June, 2012. Participants can seek the medium for answering through certain select mobile telephone subscribers, those being, Airtel / Aircel / BSNL / TataDocomo / TataIndicom / Idea / MTS / Reliance / Uninor / Vodafone. Any calls made from the public call office or PCO will be excluded from the registration procedure. The First Idea Pass Round Period starts from 10th June and extends up to 16th June which is exclusively open for all Idea subscribers.
